Free Radical Fighter
A Spice Of Life
Exotic cousin of ginger, turmeric has been thrown at rheumatoid arthritis, skin disorders, smallpox, chicken pox, urinary tract infections, and liver ailments. For centuries.
Earliest known use some 7,000 years ago in healing and religious rituals, ginger has earned its reputation. Controlled scientific studies today focus on its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, anti nausea and anticancer characteristics.
Flavonoids (plant-based protective compounds) in cinnamon work mightily to protect your cells from oxidative stress. Cholesterol-lowering, anti-inflammatory, anti-fungal, anti-microbial, and terrific on waffles—cinnamon rules.
Lemon-scented and related to mint, this stuff has long had its uses. Anxiety? Insomnia? Cold sores? Volcanic tummy? Lemon balm is here to save the evening.
This plain-faced hero is key to getting the goods. Why? Black pepper's alkaloid piperine stimulates the digestive tract, opening the metabolic door to the nutrients residing in turmeric, ginger, and all the other hotshots.
Triterpenes (just you try to pronounce it) are a contributor to disease resistance. Red reishi (G. lucidum) contains about 100 triterpenes and counting. 50 of them don't as yet appear to be in any other mushroom.
In the wild this stuff looks like a frozen firework. Once in the body it gets even weirder- and more wonderful. Brain-friendly, cholesterol-lowering, tumor-starving—this ancient life-form wants you to live.
This mushroom has life force—which it acquires like an alien on a crippled spaceship would (look it up and hang onto your hat). More to the point: this immunity-boosting, tumor-slowing, respiratory infection-fixing, kidney-and-liver healing, cholesterol-lowering aphrodisiac delivers.
Have a little trouble falling asleep (though if you snore like a freight train we can't help you).
Suffer anxiety and could use a little nature to calm the storm.
Want to sip something whose compounds may preserve cognition.
Want the light, organic lift of a natural mood elevator.
Sometimes have a little late-night tummy trouble.
First off I want to say that this product had been left out of my original order and when I contacted them about it they IMMEDIATELY took care of it and I had it in 2 days. No hassle, just great customer service. Mistakes happen, but it’s how they are handled that counts and the experience was outstanding. Now.... about the product. I’ve been struggling with some late night snacking which has made my quarantine ten happy to hang around so I was looking for something that I could do instead of that and that would include some health benefits. I’m not a huge hot drink drinker but this is ridiculously delicious. Like, well done formulator, you deserve a pat on the back and a gold star delicious. It’s sweet enough to satisfy a sweet tooth and is so warm and cozy. If this drink was a situation it would be a relaxing evening with a foot rub, a Henry Cavil film, a warm blanket, and a crackling fire with maybe the tiniest pinch of ******. Well done KOS. Well done.
I was skeptical about this because of the mushroom blend, I have all three mushroom powders at home and they can be overpowering in some things but this is absolutely amazing!! I mixed it Into a bulletproof coffee - SO GOOD!!!!
Love the taste and how calming it is! 100% recommended
I drank this in the late morning at first thinking it would be a good way to break my fast. Out of nowhere, I began to yawn over and over again, feeling sleepy by noon. This is abnormal and right away I realized “this is a true bedtime golden milk.” The taste is excellent, though I wish it were a bit stronger. In regular milk the chai taste vanished a bit. I’ll just add a bit of fresh ground cinnamon to pick it up. Right away I feel relaxed and warm, ready for an amazing night’s sleep.
MY new bedtime routine! I don't go a night without it! I was worried about the Chai flavor part, i do not normal enjoy chia but dang is this good!
