Hydration Protein - Clear Protein Hydration Mix

I love this product. Why can't I find it any longer at Sprouts?

We got a sample of these in an order for protein powder. I’m not a water drinker but I try a lot of products to entice me; flavored water goes down easier than plain water. I LOVE THESE!

My favorite is the “tropical” with a splash of passion fruit syrup; spousal unit adds a dash of coconut syrup. So, yeah, we both delighted.

KOS Hydration Clear Protein is by far the BEST! The light, refreshing fruit flavor is my go to every morning before starting my day. The added bonus of clear protein without the actual taste of protein is a big plus for me as I struggle with most protein drinks. Another plus is KOS adds pea protein instead of whey protein which benefits anyone that is intolerant to whey. This has become a staple in our household.

I love KOS protein powder but the protein hydration is a miss. Tastes very artificial, didn’t sit well in my stomach while drinking & felt nauseous for hours after drinking. Will stick to smoothies with the regular protein powder.

Good idea, but it tastes... odd, to put it simply. Something about it just tastes unnatural. Far from refreshing. Been trying to return this along with the protein I bought that according to brief research shows *make* have forever chemicals in it. I've tried lots of electrolyte packets - tablets and powder. These are my favorite hands down. I LOVE that there is some protein present and I appreciate the mix of electrolytes; they are great for a less salty option. I hope KOS comes out with a clear protein powder as well. We fly through these in our house especially as the weather is now warmer - I like to drink them after weightlifting or running.

I TRIED DRINKING THIS AS I PURCHASED IT ON MY RECENT WHOLE FOODS RUN AND IT SMELLS QUESTIONABLE, I COULDN'T EVEN GET IT DOWN. IT ALSO HAS A REPRODUCTIVE HARM WARNING (THESE WARNINGS CAN SOMETIMES BE OVERLYDRAMATIC). I ALSO SEE IT IS UPCYCLED, AND IDK WHAT THAT MEANS BUT I DON'T WANT TO EAT ANYTHING UPCYCLED SORRY.

The flavor was good. I liked that there was protein in the mix. I put mine in a blender bottle and mixed it with water and I added a lemon slice. The flavor had a naturally sweetness to it. Easy to drink and I felt good and rehydrated afterwards.

I’m currently pregnant, and I’ve been told by so many doctors that hydration and protein are key right now. It’s especially tricky to get enough protein as a woman, and this covers both my goals, plus it’s really yummy. Super easy to mix- no gritty texture. I’m super happy to have found it!

An easy and refreshing way to introduce more protein into the day. The tropical flavor over ice is tart and juicy.

I have tried a clear, plant-based protein water before. Yours is better for hydration and vitamins which I do like. The carb count is low which appreciate, but could be lower.
I would rather that the protein be in bulk with a tub and scoop rather than individual packets. I don’t like making garbage. And I want more eco friendly scoop and tubs for the other products on that topic. (Like cardboard tubs and corn-base scoops)
That said, the protein water is awesome; it blends well, has a smooth mouth-feel (some can be… slick). I love the protein count and I love the orange flavor. I really appreciate that you’re offering it.

I really love this product! As a gym girlie, I'm always conscious about my protein intake and staying hydrated, so I love that this product allows me to do both at the same time. They also tasted really good and dissolved well in water, there was no clumping or weird texture. If this product goes to market I would definitely have this on subscription!

It tasted as I expected it would but was happy with the orange flavor. Perhaps we could get that in other options also

That being said- the hydration with protein is tasty. It does seem to be on the heavier side, closer to a thin smoothie then a flavored water. So I personally wouldn't drink it while working out, but I would definitely use as a pre workout to help boost my protein.
The flavors are good and I'm excited to add something different to my routine.

I loved all 3 flavors I tried. It was perfect for a mid-afternoon pick me up! I felt hydrated and satiated without too many calories.

Variable flavors. The orange was pretty good. I couldn't drink the berry. And the tropical fruit was okay. But they did not feel gritty or give me a stomach ache like some other protein mix-ins!

This is the IDEAL refreshing workout drink for summer! All three flavors are great, but my favorite is the berry. Easy to drink, and unlike other clear proteins I've tried, it has no strange texture and no weird after-taste. I can't wait until I can buy it by the tub!

Great product, quenched thirst and helped recovery after work out. Taste could be a little more flavorful but all otherwise it was great!
